Ethics of Aviation in Indonesia: If We Don't, Who Will?
In the aviation community, there have been several decisions that have been made to create and maintain a high standard of safety in commercial air travel. However, in recent years the idea of ethical business has gained traction regarding aviation, particularly in Indonesia where multiple concerns regarding the safety and overall wellbeing of flight services have been brought to light. Some of those concerns include; flight safety, environmental damage, and professional ethics regarding substance amongst pilots and crew(Kania, 2018). It is my personal opinion that when involving services such as commercial flight, which moderately risks the lives of the passengers aboard, should be held to the highest standard. With Indonesia continuing to grow within the aviation community, it is imperative that these standards not remain but increase as popularity grows, however the concerns of aviation practice continues to rise as more and more cases of ethical dilemmas appear....
